Happy Friday Everyone!
I’m linking up with First Line Fridays which hosted by Hoarding Books. The idea is simple, share the first line of your nearest book!
Rose City Reader hosts a similar link up on that asks for the first line or two of your current read.
Whichever link up lead you to my blog today, welcome!
This week I am sharing the first two sentences (I know I spoil you) of my current read. I’m only a short way into this book at the time of writing but my goodness I am loving it so far!
This is taken from the wonderful children’s book ‘The Polar Bear Explorers‘ Club’ by Alex Bell.
Don’t forget to head over to Hoarding Books and Rose City Reader to see who else is participating!
Oh, isn’t that a lovely cover?!!! 😍
Ty Remington blamed the homemade orange marmalade cake for why he found himself huddled under an overhang off some faraway path in Glacier National Park, shivering, praying he might live through the night.

I love that first line! It’s exactly what I would have wanted to read as a child.
I’m sharing the first line from A Season to Dance by Patricia Beal on my blog today, but I’ll share here from the book I’m currently reading: A Chance at Forever by Melissa Jagears:
“I wish you luck, George.”
“It’s Aaron now. Don’t forget.”
Have a great weekend!
